I've been reading on other hockey fourms. It seems a lot of Pittsburgh people got tickets and are coming to Detroit. I really hope Red wings fans make some noise and excitment tonight, and our team dominates.

I did have fun!
It was a GREAT weekend other than the part that my team getting blanked twice !We went to DEMF and that was something we(my gf and i) always wanted to do. Its not Free anymore but $40 for 3 days is fine. We even stayed an extra day(cancelled work) to see game 2(where the hell is this so-called usa tradition of tailgaiting at games?!) and do day 3 of DEMF!! Downtown is nice, clean and peoples were fun and friendly. Good vibes all around. cops were really cool and down to earth (its called respect, and they'll give it back- common sense) We also went to Ann Arbor and that was very nice pocket as well. I was really looking forward to trying this tailgaiting thing, but i must say guys you don't know how to party! I mean where is the big screen outdoor for fans? Joe Louis is by a smelly river/under a bridge and it was so calm almost sedated down there....i found that almost depressing. Joe Louis indoors is an amazing arena, what a view!!! North of Grand River is well...you know...really bad. Oh and, your deposits are the highest I have seen for the usa and jeez beer/booze is quite expensive and the gas(!!!). I really hope with all the work put into Detroit, that you'll stop closing schools....because without an education you go nowhere fast! We are actually going to be in Detroit for game 5 as well, Driving from Canada to Pittsburgh then onto Detroit... I am glad to have seen the positive side of Detroit ![]() But truth be told, it seems like a scary place to live (remember I am from Canada, where well we don't lock our doors or cars and we do not have SLUMS like some places in the usa) Thanx guys for all the tips ![]() |

Now be nice, he had a good time and offered some words of encouragement, and voiced an honest first impression. He is coming back for tonight, so it couldn't have been too bad. Now we just have to get him to come to some other events and complete the conversion! LOL |
