I will be in detroit next week and was wondering where I can find some excellent record stores only vinyl from the 8O s ,I am interested in funk soul and boogie.

There is a record store in Dearborn on Mi ave. down by Pizza papalis- It is a good size store and pretty ecclectic as far as records, cds and cassettes. Hope this helps.

Dearborn Music is what it's called; on Michigan and Monroe St.

Might also want to check out Rock of Ages in Garden City on Ford Rd east of Merriman. They have a lot of music stuff, though not sure about records. Might want to call first.

You can buy new records as well as used ones to. They have a large selection of new vinyl.A brand new record sounds better than CD's IMO.Glad to see vinyl on it's way back.
