Is there a good place in Troy or the surrounding area for a good haircut for a black man? I am having the hardest time finding a place....Please help me out

Yeah...there's a small-ish place near the southwest corner of 15 mile and Dequindre...it used to be called JJ's Barbershop but I know they redid it a lot and he rarely works there now but his family has taken over. I think it's still called JJ's though. I know they had also upped their prices but I can atest to the fact that they do good work. I am not black myself, but I am fairly positive that they cater to that community.
Oh, it's next to a carwash in case you have trouble finding it.

Haircuts for black men in Troy are hard to find...as you know by now. (We still drive into Detroit; others go to Pontiac.) However, a good way to find out is by attending a TAAP support group meeting. Troy African American Parent Support Group; wonderful way to network and get helpful hints to living easier in Troy, MI. I will post info for next meeting when I get it.
