Why is Detroit About 80% African American? (Powers: schools, title, land)

I didn't flee TO a mostly white suburb, I fled FROM Detroit. And I didn't flee from Black people, I fled FROM Detroit. In fact, the 1 mile radius around my house is probably mostly Black in population. My block is probably 20 percent Black in population.

what suburb of Detroit is not Mostly white aside from Southfield? And how did such a nice middle class suburb, where people keep up their homes and crime is not rampant.....go from majority white to majority black in a matter of a few decades?

Inkster for one. River Rouge for another...I'm sure there are more. Did I say the city was not mostly white? And I already addressed how Southfield went majority black in a few decades. It went the same way Northwest Detroit did. The Jewish community was a tighter than average community and they moved out faster and more en masse than the various "Gentile communities", leaving a vaccuum ripe for block busting and conversion into Black neighborhoods.

If you put a Germane Sheppard embryo into a female Doberman Pincher……the fact that is birthed out of the latter does not make it a Doberman Pincher. I will be retiring back in the Motherland.

I wish I could find a video of this infomercial about bring these Jews from Beta Israel to Israel and that this rabbi stated that there practice of Judaism was in essence more authentic and sincere than most other Jews. So, don't let people tell you that all are White.

Detroit was never mostly Jewish either, yet it's my understanding that those were the areas that cleared out first. You can still see the Stars of David all over churches in NW Detroit (or at least the outline where they used to be) that were Synogogues before. Also, I believe the Northwest Activities Center used to be the Jewish Community Center. That area was pretty highly populated by Jews and it changed very rapidly.

Why did they move out? Probably because they wanted to live in a majority white neighborhood or maybe a neighborhood with more Jewish people? Maybe the riot scared them? Kristalnacht II? I don't know and I don't really care to tell you the truth. I'm never the first to bail out, but I'm no pioneer either. Maybe it's a type of Pavlovian response. When you see your neighborhood starting to decline you get the hell out before you're left holding the bag. Would it be better for the whole if individuals didn't start the flight? Of course. Are you going to change human nature? No way.

Eventhough the demographics have changed, has the character of Southfield changed?

Look up the stats from the FBI Uniform Crime Report and the MEAP scores for the Southfield School District, and you tell me.
