Ferndale Foundation (city hall, lease, houses)

I'm currently living in Northern Michigan with plans of relocating to Ferndale mid-December. I am aware of some area's downstate that commonly pre-lease housing, but am having a hard time finding connections in Ferndale. I'm looking for a house; 2-bed, small dogs allowed, $600-1,000 (depending on utilities) a month. Money to secure the lease is more than fair, as well as a letter of recommendation from my current landlord. Any direction you guys could point me in is greatly appreciated!!

Never heard of that in Ferndale. Did you try to contact the city hall and see if they have any info?

I currently live in Ferndale and know that there are houses all over the place for rent that meet your criteria. The best advice is to take a day or two and drive around, write the phone numbers down and then call immediately. A lot of landlords will allow small dogs and many of the homes here have fenced yards. Good Luck.
