Default If You Could...

I have been following the Detroit forums alot lately because I'm a senior in highschool thinking about going to Wayne State University, but I was just wondering, if your financial situation was good mediocre then which neighborhood or area in and around Detroit would you choose to live? Just wondering so I know what to look at and where to look at.
Thanksssss.

Wayne State is mostly a commuter school. If you are going to live downtown, I would look at the campus area housing or possibly an apartment or condo along the riverfront if you can afford one. The area around the WSU campus seems to be the liveliest part of downtown..
