how do we as the people of this city really fell that it is the worst place to live. I myself think that our city has come a long way. We have alot to be seen here and alot to come. Detroit is one of the greastest places as any where else to be seen. Thank you business owners for keeping the faith and keeping Detroit, Michigan alive. It works for me. Wonderful place to visit. PLEASE GO OUT AND VOTE EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Is Detroit Dead? Hell, America is dead. Don't hear what's being said in the news about our economy?

There is a trend in all major cities right now to tear down the old inner city housing. This includes apartments, projects and single homes in whole neighborhoods. These areas will be re-gentrified with more expensive housing and park/green areas. Only the wealthy will be able to afford the new housing. (The upper middle classes are being squeezed out of that economic strata)

What will happen to the people who are living in these areas?
Look around, they are being assissted into housing in the suburbs.
There are several bills in congress/senate either recently passed or being worked on for the purpose of providing housing in middle class neighborhoods for indigent populations. Part of this bailout is going to contain pork for just that.
We have all been very generous to them. I am only glad to share what I have.

Enjoy.
