Yes, it is a nice surburban township. It has expolded in population in recent years. It used to be more "exurban" with more open space (farms, woods) but has seen a lot of development. I don't know to much about the schools, but many suburban schools are very highly rated. The only cons that I can think about is the commute to some places. The commute can be long to some of the attractions around the rest of metro Detroit and Downtown.
