Westbury is on a distinguished road
Default Commerce Township Living & High Schools

Just realized I put this on the "Michigan" forum...meant to put it on "Detroit".

I will be transferring to a job located in Farmington Hills. We were looking at housing in the Commerce Township area. Does anyone have any opinions on living in that area? Is it a reasonable commute to work during normal business hours?

Also, what are the high schools like ( I believe they are Huron Valley or Walled Lake Schools??).

Hi. Walled Lake are supposed to have excellent schools. I grew up in West Bloomfield and am now 30 but went to Birmingham schools. I am not a MI fan but I will say if I had kids I would love them to go to Birmingham district. What area in Commerce? It depends but you can usually catch M-5 which makes it easy to get around. Have you looked at other areas of West Bloomfield?I am not sure your finances but some parts of WB the schools are Bloomfield Hills which are very good,West Bloomfield, and then Birmingham. Good luck
