Default Nicer Areas of Detroit

What are some of the better areas of Detroit (I mean the City, not the metropolitan area).

I know that the ZIP code 48226 is nicer. Where else?

Hey....don't you know the unspoken rule! Only NEGATIVES should be talked about and presented to the world concerning the City of Detroit. Don't expect much response when the topic is positive and Detroit....people do not want to talk about that.

Dexterguy is right. Id also add Woodbridge and the lofts down by the river (rivertown I think?).

The nicer areas are few and far between but I lived in Corktown this past summer and I would move back in a heartbeat if I got a job downtown.

I second Indian Villiage, I looked at a gorgeous apartment there and the area seemed very nice. My friend has a tudor in Boston-Edison, I think its an expensive area but again, very nice.

I've answered this question so many times. Palmer Woods, Sherwood Forest, Green Acres, North Rosedale Park, Indian Village, Boston Edison, Midtown, Downtown, South West Detroit.
