Saint Cyril Street, Detroit (Caro: neighborhood, to live, zip code)

Could anyone give us some information about this area of Detroit (is it in a separate suburb/community/city) and is it a nice area to live. We live in Australia so can't just pop over so easily to see for ourselves. Thankyou, Carolyn

i never heard of it. it's possible it's not actually a street in detroit. if you give me an exact address with zip code, i could look it up and tell you more.

6680 Saint Cyril Street, Detroit 48213. I can find the street on google earth and other maps, it appears to be quite long & runs approx. north south on a bit of an angle & is on the eastside.

At first glance, that is not an area where I would want to live. Van Dyke and 94 is pretty shady. I stopped for gas there once alone and was highly uncomfortable (during the day).

i checked it out on google maps Google Maps
here's a link, you can see the whole area if you continue to follow these arrows. this is not a good area in anyway. in comparison to other parts of detroit though it gets far worse. look for yourself

the link i put up didn't work correctly, it just takes you to google maps. if you type in the address on the screen it will give you the option to see a pic of the house. you can then follow the arrows on the screen and manouver the screen to see the entire area.

It is indeed a street and why does a person half way around the world have in interst in this street in Detroit. To tell you the truth Saint Cyril street and the surrounding neighborhood like much of Detroit is a shell of it's former self, it's not a suburb, see then tread best and worst detroit suburbs for info on good suburbs.
