Default Indian Village - demographics?

Poking around the older neighborhoods this one looks very nice...who lives there? retirees, the ethnic mix, hoa's, events, etc..taxes are a horror - any chance of challenging them?

Other neighborhoods like this?

also is there greenwich village of Chicago?

ARJATL is on a distinguished road
I use to live in Indian Village, my parents bought their home there in the mid 70's...it was a great place to live...we lived there 22 years before selling the home on Burns. It use to be a quiet and lovely neighborhood...I live in ATL now...have not been back to Detroit in 5 years....things could have changed...:0)

Forgot to mention other neighborhoods that are similar....Green Acres, Boston Edison area, Sherwood Forest...taxes are a little steep now, but not then. These are all historic homes/areas.
