If I had a magic wand I'd squish the whole city toward downtown. And tear down everything outside of Grand Blvd and plant trees from there to city limits. No way would I want any part of Detroit to combine services with the county. The suburbs don't deserve that. We're already underwriting too much of Detroit. Maybe the western suburbs could start their own county or go with Washtenaw.......
