Default "Chin Tiki" in downtown demolished

I never thought of what was actually going to happen to this place one day, but it looks like it's completely gone now. It really is a piece of Detroit history, it was there for decades and decades, both operational and not operational, but it's a piece of history.

When I drove through the area on Friday, the Chin Tiki was totally razed. It looks like the Loyal Order of the Moose right next door is next in line to be demolished. The entire Foxtown area is becoming acres of nothing.

I also noticed that the United Artists Building had fencing around it, is there plans to tear it down? That would be a loss, I also hoped one day it would be restored.

This now raises high speculation that Ilitch is for sure going to put a new hockey arena in that area.
