Birthday Party: Live Costumed Characters (Detroit: appointed, activities, area)

Any good references for "Live Costumed Characters" near Detroit area who can entertain with costumes like Dora, Bear, Mickey Mouse in kid’s party?

Please post ur experience, recommendations which are of great help to others like me who are in hunt for the same.

I rented Cinderella from A*1 and was VERY disappointed. The kids loved her..but she was very serious and somewhat rude to the kids. Don't think I would do that again.

We had Cinderella (from the same A-1 Party Characters) at our daughter's party and she was WONDERFUL. Not sure what happened with that other person- maybe kids were misbehaving or weren't being supervised? Cinderella was very sweet and gentle w/ the kids at our party, not to mention they adored her and kept wanting to go hug her. She did a lot of great activities with them and kept them very entertained. We were all impressed w/ this company and how professional they were from the beginning to the end, even with repling to emails. Many of the parents at the party wanted information from me so they could book their children's parties! And we've already booked Pablo for our son's birthday in August- can't wait!!
