Question New buisiness on Gratiot & 7 mile
My wife and I are considering moving to Detroit and buying a house on Barlow on the East side and opening a Recording Studio right on Gratiot near the 7 mile cross. I know its a Gang territory (I.V.L.) but its not near any borders, and its music....any thoughts or advice? Think it would help the community or jus get burned down and shot up like so many others?

Where are you moving from and why not pick an area north west side of the city with better store buying opertunities, and exactly what gangs are you talking about because only see them far west and far east, you might just be seeing ignorant people. If there are signs, don't let the front of your store on Gratiot be available, beware and choose wisely.
