Similar to Novi, Troy attracts a higher percentage of Asians (Taiwanese, Koreans, Indians) than most other communities. These are both well educated communities that embrace and value diversity. I think what attracts Asians is the focus on education and the opportunities afforded our kids in the public schools. This is one of the reasons we chose to raise our kids in Troy.

I'm a Michigan area teen, I think the most "Asian" any place gets is indeed Troy, but other than that the Asian influence is extremely low, I've always been one of the only Asian students in my class and if you have a choice and plan on raising children, my opinion would be to go to Troy.

If you're Indian though, I beleive I've heard that Farmington is now home to the largest concentration of Indian Americans.
