Default Ohio St. apartments, north of Grand River, Detroit

Does anyone remember the apartment buildings that were along Ohio Street, north of Grand River Avenue (south of Cortland St.) in Detroit? An aunt of mine lived in one of those back in the '60s and told me they had been torn down, which Google Earth maps confirms. Does anyone know when they were demolished, and their name? I really liked visiting there, they had the old style elevators, murphy beds, and large glass entry mirrors....cool!

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.
