Looking for a Diverse Church (Detroit, Redford: income, live, baptist)

I moved from California where I went to a racially diverse church. I have not been able to find one in the metro detroit area. Does anyone know of a good church that is racially diverse?

Not too common here. Pretty much, blacks have their own church, and whites have their own.

Try Detroit World Outreach Center in Redford, a few blocks from Detroit. Definitely a very diverse congregation.

A lot depends on where you live and how far you want to drive.

I'd still be going to Grace Community Church at 94/Moross - it's honestly the most diverse (in terms of race/income levels) that I've experienced in this area, but I moved and it's just too far away to drive and be involved with the community there. So, I'm looking for something closer to where I live.

But like Burtsbees said, whites and blacks tend to stick to their own. I struggle with that as well, but it is what it is.
