Really?...

I understand that they're certainly ritzier neighborhoods (parts of them), but even pretending that they're "twice" as nice as Troy would be a gross overstatement.

Unless he's moving to Turtle Lake (and dropping $5M+) I don't think you're going find something that's !*!50!*! times better than a higher-end place in Troy.

Trust me, I've done plenty of work in Birmingham and quite a bit in Bloomfield Hills. Sure there's more top-end mansions around there, and downtown B'ham is certainly nice, but there's just as many or more older style neighborhoods in those cities that I would consider not even close to as nice as Troy.

Well I was exaggerating of course about Bloomfield and Birmingham, but they are definitely both nicer than Troy.

Troy is a nice city, but the best neighborhood in Troy is significantly worse than the worst neighborhood in Bloomfield Hills.

Bloomfield Hills is one of the richest cities on the planet, and Troy is basically a typical middle class sprawlburb. Maybe upper-middle class in the northern parts.

Also, Turtle Lake definitely isn't the nicest part of Bloomfield. It's in Bloomfield Township, not Bloomfield Hills, and is thought of as kinda tacky and nouveau riche.

The best parts of Bloomfield are around Lone Pine Road west of Woodward. Heck, this is the wealthiest neighborhood in Michigan and one of the richest in the U.S.
