I appreciate it. I lived in AZ for a long while but am now back in suburban Detroit. I would never let anyone badmouth the "D" either. It's still a great city with some good people. I love being back home, it's just sad to see the burbs and the city are still not getting along very well and some people are even promoting that division. |

St8champ90 and And The both have a valid point. Y'all just on opposite sides of the line. You cant fault suburban people from wanting to be Detroiters. You also cant fault a Detroiter for wanting to be free of the mess because like And The said at the end of the day its all about providing for our families. Politics is always a mess and thats not gonna change anytime soon don't waste yourself for an institution that doesn't care nothing about you.

I used to tell people, when out of state, that I was from Detroit. But they kept taking a few steps back from me as if I was contagious or something.  |
