hmmmmmmmmm..Chilis at Ford and Southfield is DEARBORN...Unless the entire Fairlane Mall is now Detroit as well?

Finally--a successful ANNEXATION!!
Actually, VM is correct. Chilis, the Doubletree Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn) and all that other stuff is in Detroit. The confusion may stem from the fact that they somehow managed to be listed in the phone book as "Dearborn" for obvious reasons.

Don't forget IHOP! And Big Boys......And you forgot the biggest Detroit chain of them all. The mother of all Detroit chains....Little Caesar's....What would the theater and stadium district be without Little Caesar's?

possibly to show people that chains still see Detroit as a profitable location, or maybe just to show where to eat

I am actually a little suprised that ANY restaurants at all are opening up in Detroit, especially like more upscale one's like Maggiano's Little Italy, Carabba's Italian Grill, and Olive Garden. It just seems like with all of the draining wealth in the city, no one would be interested in going there.

Starbucks suprised me also. Whose willing to spend $5 on a cup of coffee in this economy?

People in Detroit aren't entitled to eat?

I'll reserve my comments on all the fried chicken chains.

Why so quick to assume I'm trying to be rude? I was curious if this thread was trying to show a point of some sort. I thought maybe I missed something.

Blazing on the city? Check my other posts and get back to me. I WANT us all to get along and want a prosperous city again.
