Default Cemetery Services?

I recently moved out of Michigan and am wondering what to do about my parents graves. I will not be able to visit their cemetery and cannot take care of landscaping their graves since I have moved out of state. Can anyone offer any ideas?

Thanks.

For that matter, what are, exactly, the long term plans to deal with cemeteries inside Detroit? If a cemetery ends up surrounded by urban prairie, what will become of it? Is there a danger of complete abandonment?

Where are the cemeteries that are surrounded by major abandonment? Mount Olivet and Evergreen and Woodlawn are nice, but I've never seen such a cemetary.

I read Rosa Parks is buried in Woodland, and the price of plots has soared to be buried near her, some plots go for $25,000 each!

For that price I think the cemetery won't be abandonded!

What cemeteries do people visit, if any at all? Is there a certain time of year that you visit?

My grandparents are buried at Resurrection in Clinton Twp. It's still as nice and serene as it was when my grandfather was buried there 30 years ago.

Looks like quite a few politicos and other VIPs buried at Mt. Olivet.
