Default Indian Lake Village Apartments in Lake Orion

I am thinking of moving to Indian Lake Village Apts. in Lake Orion. I am curious to know what kind of community is there, i.e. are there a lot of kids, college students, etc.? If anyone has had any experience of living there or currently resides there now, I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I don't live there, but I noticed nobody has replied so hopefully this will be helpful...I drive through it a few times a week but just don't hang out there too often.

Most of the people I've met who live on the lake itself have money, but are not pretentious - they just like living on the water and happen to have enough money to do so. The people who live there like their lake sports: waterskiing, ski-doo, pontoon parties, etc. There are a few public access points so folks who don't live on the lake can still enjoy it.

There is a small downtown with some nice restaurants and a few shops, and just north & south of downtown on M-24 you'll find a lot of dining and retail options. I think you might have to go a few miles north of Oxford to get to Meijer. Oxford is also a nice little downtown with a slightly snobbier feel to it, but some fun places to go nonetheless.

I'm not really sure of the typical resident; the people I've known who live there are families with kids but that doesn't mean everyone who lives there does. I think they have pretty decent schools and the lake is fun for kids, so it might be a popular spot for families. There isn't really a college too close, so I don't believe it's big with college students. Driving through town today I noticed mainly adults waiting for restaurant seats, riding bicycles, jogging, etc.

Sorry that's not more detailed but I hope it helps!

I lived in Village of Fox Creek from August '05 to August '07...I HIGHLY recommend it. Fairly close to Lake Orion. Of course there was the occasional loud neighbor but you're going to find that at 100% of the places you look at anywhere in the US. It's just a fact of life. Google the place!
