Question Any news on Michigan Central Station?

Last I read, city officials were urging the owner to tear it down.

Again, as someone said in the thread about Tiger Stadium being torn down, what's the point? It's probably too far gone to be renovated for office space, and I've seen photos of more modern office buildings around the area being torn down due to lack of occupancy.

Guess I'd better get down there when we visit for July 4th, before there's nothing to photograph.
