My grandaughter was born with a condition that resulted in total deafness by the age of 2 and has a cochlear implant . Her mom , my daughter had been going to college for speech pathology and got her master's degree in speech pathology a couple years back and now does contract work for RESA through a agency at various locations in the
Detroit school district . On a high school level she has told me the
Redford Union has a great program with classes tailored to a persons needs whether it be sign , cochlear implants , or tube whatever that is not sure . Here's a link from the RESA link above for Redford Union
