Question trying to find a high school for my deaf/slow learning son

does anyone know about washington career center in Detroit? or any other alternate education?

I thought they had closed the Washington Career Center? The one there on Davidson?

yes! its still open. my son just graduated to 9th grade and has nowhere to go for high school. washington careers start at 19 years old,jason is 14

You asked twice and the other post got buried a couple pages back . Here was my reply:

My grandaughter was born with a condition that resulted in total deafness by the age of 2 and has a cochlear implant . Her mom , my daughter had been going to college for speech pathology and got her master's degree in speech pathology a couple years back and now does contract work for RESA through a agency at various locations in the Detroit school district . On a high school level she has told me the Redford Union has a great program with classes tailored to a persons needs whether it be sign , cochlear implants , or tube whatever that is not sure .
