Default New development in Royal Oak

Does anyone know about the proyect "Indian Oaks Village" in Royak Oak. We just moved to Detroit and we would like to live in this city-trend-town. So far we don't like the high prices that one needs to pay for an old home or a small loft. We heard about some new construction going on in Royal Oak, but we don't know the reputation of the builder or if it's good idea to invest in this proyect.

Never heard of it. We just moved to Royal Oak 2 weeks ago and love it. However, I should say that for Michigan, considering how bad the economy is, Royal Oak is not your best buy. The same goes for Birmingham. People in this part of the Metro area are doing the best in terms of real estate. For that reason, I would be hesitant about buying right now. The vast majority of Michigan is doing horribly in real estate and you will end up overpaying if you buy in Royal Oak or Birmingham right now. Having just moved here from California last year, we are renting for the next couple of years to see what happens before we buy.
