True, but I have gone into a Casino, just out of couriosty. Went in expecting to come out behind and wasn't disappointed. They are great places to people watch though.
There are people that can make money at poker I guess but I leave it alone, thats one learning curve I don't want to tackle.

I prefer flushing my money down the toilet for entertainment.

As always, I agree with everything canudigit said, and will go further to say that, like rgt53, I wish the casinos (and the sports teams) would all fail completely so that Detroit could start focusing on those industries that will really help build the city and provide jobs for the masses. Detroit will not be rebuilt on senseless entertainment. In fact, I believe that casinos and sports destroy people's work ethics.

I never gamble, but if I did I would only play cards or something like that. With technology the way it is, those slots can be manipulated with the push of a button. With cards, you know there are 52 cards, and the dealer shuffles them. Or so I assume...

Blackjack in the casino is nearly always played with multiple decks. What's more, the rules are often less favorable when the table minimums are low. Same goes for video poker. Lower denomination 9/6 Jacks or Better is hard to find now.
