Thanks in advance for the help.

I have been getting unemployment since may of 09 from a restaurant job that closed down jan 24th of 09. My Weekly benefit amount was 362.00 .

Throughout the year i did small jobs here and there and held some part time work at a casino and a fitness studio.

My benefit year expired on the 24th and i had to re certify. When i re certified it said i had been approved for another benefit year and my weekly benefit amount is 140!

140 from 362 is a huuuuuugggggeee difference. Apparently my highest quarterly earnings were from the casino, fitness studio and the last few weeks of the restaurant job. the earnings were as follows:

Fitness studio -882.50
restaurant: 1392.00
Casino -1140

in Michigan if you earn more than 5 times your weekly benefit amount you are eligible for another benefit year. in this case I DON'T WANT ONE, I would rather of been denied and rely on my extensions which aren't promised but a hell of a lot better than 140 a week. I have lots of bills and its hard to find work here.

BUT THERE'S MORE

When i looked over the information some things are incorrect. I only made 530.43 at the restaurant for 09. I even have the W-2 to prove it. i dont know why they reported that large amount when we were a failing business. Can this be verified with my w-2 since the business closed? it was a franchise, but they dont have the records needed.

Also with the casino i was terminated for unsatisfactory job performance within a 90 day period, not for a lack of work which is listed as the reason for separation. I even visited the casino and that is the reason they have listed for my termination. I don't know why the worker put lack of work. i told her they let me go, I'm not sure if its my strong accent or what. But its wrong. I shouldn't be eligible to collect on these wages correct?

QUESTIONS:

Will the new information submitted after an investigation be enough to get me denied for this new benefit and put back on my previous extension for benefits?

Why would my job list incorrect wages and can my w-2 disprove this?

If i was fired for unsatisfactory job performance within a 90 period from the casino, would they wages not be counted for the new benefit year? the unsatisfactory performance was because i was late all of the time. sometimes i forgot i had to work.

Thank you in advance for your help.
