when do you take your meds (Metformin, work, meal)

i am experimenting with the different meds i take and their effectiveness depending on whether i take them in the morning or evening. does anyone have any experiences with this? would appreciate your input. thanks

Some of mine have specific times: diabetes meds at meal times, one is 2-3 hrs before bedtime, one is 4 times/day. All the rest I take with breakfast. I have a cast-iron stomach, though.

I take my metformin in divided doses. Morning, afternoon and evening. I just think it works better for me.
