Well, don't eat them then -- not you, John, but the diabetic.

Just eat the meat and vegetables. How hard can that be?

It can be difficult because when facing temptation, not everyone passes this test. I am diabetic (type 2) and it is not an easy battle. It's comparable to fighting the weight battle or smoking or alcohol...the holidays actually make it really difficult with diabetes. I myself am conscious of what I eat, check my sugar regularly as well as take my meds when I have to but I wasn't always this way. I've educated myself about diabetes for a long time now and am fortunate my husband lets me experiment with diabetic recipes. Not everyone is like this.

Greenmachine - I am not sure if you have diabetes or not but, like most things in life, it's easier said than done.
