I once saw a patient in the hospital whose glucose on admit was 800. I couldn't believe he hadn't passed out. When I got to 60 once, I truly thought I was a goner - I ate everything sugary in the kitchen, along with actual sugar. Luckily, it only takes me about 15 min to return to normal

Never passed out from being low. However, last August I went into a coma and when they found me, they transported me to the hospital. Doctor in ER found my medical bracelet and tested me at a glucos level of 1389. He told the nurses to grab another meter as that was impossible. Second meter showed me at 1408. They resusitated me 3 times that week. No rhyme or reason as to what caused it.

Everyone has their own "normal range". Mine is 90-120. If I get below 90, I get loopy... while my Mom functions perfectly in the 70-90 range.

Very true! Once I get below 80, I feel crappy. My original doctor refused to believe that. Thank God I found someone who new this is possible.
