17 pounds of ugly unwanted fat is now gone from my nearly forty year old body! I am so proud. People are starting to really notice. I only have maybe ninety more to go.
Congrats, Floridamom! Although I don't do WeightWatchers, I have been exercising and dieting, and I have lost 38 lbs since March (not trying to hijack the thread). Anyhow, I am sure you can hit your goals... just stick to it!
The great thing about dieting is it only gets easier with success. The hardest part of a diet is always that first week or two. You have to overcome the craving, adjust to a new schedule and new portions... but man, once you see the results on the scale and in the mirror... once you're past the longing for that candy bar or big mac and actually enjoy your mixed green salad with almonds, grilled chicken and a bit of fat free italian dressing... life gets much easier.
Just beware of the plateaus! If the weight loss stops for a week or two do NOT give up, just push a little harder to jump back off the cliff of weight loss. Good luck! Hopefully here in a month or so I can post something similar. Temporary living has not been kind to this already lumpy body!
