No wonder low carb diets work so well. US Adults mainly eat complete garbage as the staple of their diet. It's not the carbs folks, it's the type of foods.

Yes!
It seems that those who condemn carbs only think that carbs are junk food. Complex carbs have nutrients and fiber and are part of a healthy diet.
Personally if I don't eat complex carbs I feel like crap.

Now lets not let this thread devolve into a diabetic rant. There are plenty of people here who are not diabetic nor pre diabetic and carbs do not effect them the same way, and will do much better on a diet consisting of ALL the food groups.

The table lists #1 for soda, including diet soda. Diet soda has zero carbs.

There are a few diet sodas like Diet Tonic and Diet Sundrop that have 1g of Carbs
