My daily exercise is walking 3+ miles a day, and yoga twice a day. Three times a week I do strength training. In between I golf, bowl, garden, bike, hike, and probably some other things I've forgotten.
Exercise five, sometimes six days a week. Exercises consisted of high intensity weight lifting alternating between upper and lower body. With the exception of Wednesday, cardio was kept to a bare minimum or discarded completely.
I exercise everyday between 30 and 1-1/2 hours a day. I weight lift 3-4 times a week, strenuous cardio with 175 bpm or higher for 2 days a week, yoga 1-2 days a week, hiking hills with my dog daily, tennis once a week, and... well that's it unless something else is added. I also avoid saturated fats, red meat in general, highly processed food, trans fat, high sodium, and stick with lean meats (fish, turkey, chicken) and I put a huge emphasis on vegetables. With food, it's about quality AND quantity.
Everyone is different, but I tend to believe if you want to lose weight and be fit it's about exercise AND diet. It's really easy to overeat and go beyond what your body needs. Even with all the exercise I do, I still have to watch the quantity of food I eat.
I do high intensity interval training. Like 100 yards dashes with one min or less rest in between. I run at least 40 to 65 min a day and avoid all sugars, pasta and breads.
Well, anything that numbs your eyes has to have a load of bad ingredients in them. Just because these companies are trying to green up their image doesn't mean they are really moving forward. I think that the care of our babies has to be the first and foremost. Glad you shared this with so many.
Im just about ready to head out to the garage gym to do a Tabata sequence.
8 tabata rounds each of the following:
Squats
Pushups
Pullups
Situps
Double under Jump rope
I'll have one minute of rest in between each different exercise before going on to the next one. I'll finish the 8 tabata rounds of squats, rest one minute then begin the 8 tabata rounds of pushups, then wait one minute after completing pushups and start the pullups..........etc.
Sounds like a good routine, I go through phases where I do Tabata as well....sick today and not doing much of anything
But Tabata definitely raises the heart rate while simultaneously doing some body weight exercises sand is good for both the heart, muscles and burning calories. Which is why I recommended circuit training as well, if the goes to a gym, then going from machine to machine without much rest in between also raises the heart rate burning more calories, while still getting in a strength workout.

I walk about an hour a few times a week. Lately I have been thinking about getting rollerskates and skate on the trail. I tried the rollerblades but cannot do that safely
