But hey, when you want to make a buck.
Since vegetable matter technically is all plant foods, and since keeping dairy animals didnt happen till the neolithic, meat and vegetable matter would be everything anyone could eat.

If you are defining vegetable matter to exclude fruits, seeds, etc, I suspect you are incorrect.

Paleolithic diets: a sceptical view - Nestle - 2001 - Nutrition Bulletin - Wiley Online Library

Summary

Some anthropologists have suggested that humans are genetically determined to eat diets quite different from those of today. Very little human evolution has occurred in the past 15,000 years. However, diets have changed dramatically and in parallel with a shift in disease patterns from infectious diseases and diseases associated with nutrient deficiencies, to chronic degenerative diseases associated with excessive and unbalanced intake of energy and nutrients. This review examines some of the archaeological evidence relating to the diets of early man and other primates, and current hunter-gatherer societies. Knowledge of the relative proportions of animal and plant foods in the diets of early humans is circumstantial, incomplete, and debatable and there are insufficient data to identify the composition of a genetically-determined optimal diet. The evidence related to Paleolithic diets is best interpreted as supporting the idea that diets based largely on plant foods promote health and longevity, at least under conditions of food abundance and physical activity.

I have shoveled front teeth for eating meat. The years I ate a diet low in red meat were a full acale disaster--- weight gain, muscle mass loss & endless depression just to name a few of the effects. I was not happy on a plant based diet either---- total waste of time. A diet high in meat based proteins & animal fats has changed my life. There is a fair percentage of people in America who should eat like I do; the blood type Os who make up 50% of this country. One out of every 2 people you meet has some kind of mood disorder or metabolic problem as a result of not eating enough meat & fat.

You have teeth to handle meat eating...just like every other human being alive.

The back of my two front teeth is scooped in, not flat. My ancestors ate meat & lots of it. But this OT. The thread is about eating more fat & specifically saturated fat, something a lot of people are misinformed & afraid of.

Your teeth are fundamentally the same as everyone elses.

if its about sat fat, the fact that your teeth are adapted for meat eating is not that relevant. Its a fact that wild animals are lower in sat fat than farm raised ones, and I think thats even true for range fed farm animals. Its also true that most of us dont get the level of activity that paleolithic hunters did.

Keeping our sat fat consumption under control is a very good idea, for most of us.
