oh gosh, I can imagine, would love to be a fly on the wall there . What an inspiration she is (am watching her now on Dr Oz, interesting recipes incl. one for lasagna w/ veggies (squash, eggplant etc). Would love to meet her in person, seems to be a very nice person (not to mention motivational speaker and singer).

Going to start this weekend.....sister in law is on day 3 and really likes it. Seems easy enough. My main thing is I love vegetables and fruits, so that they are not limited really helped me to choose this. I just DO NOT want to weigh in! Why can't I just go in and sign in and enjoy? I don't think it is their business if I lose weight. I get that it the point, but I can tell if my clothes are smaller and I feel better and rely on tht more than a scale. I really don't want to weigh in!

ANyone go to meetings and people don't do that and just go in and sit? I know weigh in is one time per week, but can I lie about having done it and skulk off?

Trust me the weighing in is the BEST part. It really motivates you from week to week. And they do not care what you weigh. Its an amazing feeling looking at your log book and seeing all the pounds you have lost. Do not set yourself up for failure before you start. Weighing yourself while losing weight is essential.

On another note I totally get not wanting to go by the scale. Since I reached my goal weight years ago I never jump on a scale anymore. I go by how my jeans fit. If they are a little snug its times to watch my portions. But I loved getting weighed in every week at WW. That was my motivation.

Your best bet is to join online as a monthly member, you get free online E-tools, recipes ect... My si does that and she weighs her self at home and keeps a log. You can track your food online. It's so easy. If you go in person to join they will mkae you get on the scale. I think you can do WW from home. online without attending a meeting and weighing in there.

I think the real question is why don't you want to weigh yourself? I think it is important to come to terms with ones weight before one can attempt to lose any.
