Mine can vary from a couple pounds day to day, but usually not more than 2 or 3.

I know that I retain water BADLY. Have you eaten a lot of carbs in the past couple of days? Have you eaten a lot of salt? Are you drinking enough water? Any of these can impact the scale.

That'll do it - at least for me. I rarely eat fast food, and when I do, it takes days for the water weight to go away.

I havent had kfc in over a yr & last nights meal was good except for the very greasy fries. Tonights dinner was 2 pan fried cheeseburgers & resers potatoe salad. Yesterday i drank sierra mist natural lemon lime soda with real sugar. A 12 oz serving is 140 calories & 37 grams of sugar. How many grams is 1 tablespoon ? I think its 4 but im not sure.

1 teaspoon = 4.2 grams of sugar

1 tablespoon = 3 teaspoons

37 grams = 3 tablespoons of sugar .... THAT is a lot of sugar. You are much better off drinking plain water.

If you want to lose weight and keep it off, cut your daily calories, and focus on eating only healthy food.

Cut out as much sugar and deep fried foods as possible.

Sugar is 100% carbs, and unless you exercise a lot and burn off the carbs for energy, carbs just turn to fat on your body.

Sodas are wasted calories, and should be eliminated completely. If you want something sweet, eat a piece of fresh fruit instead.

Also, as I mentioned above, always weigh yourself first thing in the morning before you've eaten and after you've been to the bathroom.

When you weigh yourself at other times during the day, your body may have food, water, urine and excrement which adds to your weight. It can add several pounds.
