I am desperate to find a copy of one of the weekly planners that
that went along with this old WW exchange diet. If anyone has a copy I would greatly appreciate it. I have tried to create one but with out much luck. Thank you in advance.

I think you will find it went something like this. all the leafy green vegies are free, basically the non starchy veggies - corn, peas, beans...
You can consume 2 fats(30 cals ea) / day, 4-5 proteins (60 cals ea), 3-4 starches( 80 cals ea), 2 fruits ( 60 cals ea), 2 dairy (80 cals ea) The average woman does a 1000-1200 calorie / day program in order to lose weight. the ideal weight loss is 1/2 # or less / week. drink 8 glasses of water.
men should be on 1400 -2000 cals /wk. if the weight loss is too rapid then one increasees the food to slow it down. The slower you take it off the better your chances of keeping it off.
Avoid the "diet" mentality. there is nothing you can't eat on a menu plan so you just evaluate what you value more....
I could go on for hours but hopefully you get the general idea. send me an email if you have questions I probably won't see repost questions.
If I need to validate my background, I opened the doors of Weight watcher personal a plan that Jenny C copied. and I have written a book on the topic... yet to be published. I taught the WW practice to 1000's for over 3 years and gave 1 on 1 counseling to all the members.

The Quick Start program is the best! I would really appreciate a copy of the booklets passed out at the meetings also. Please send to Moderator cut: no private e-mails here. DM instead

I followed the WW program in the early 70's, cereal was not banned from the program, you could have a 1/2 bananna , protein portions were bigger, women could have 5 to 6 oz. of protein a day. 2 to 3 fruits a day, 2 to 3 breads a day, 1/4 of a avacado was a fat, two skim milks a day(or yogurt), only 4 eggs a week, meat only 3 times a week, 5 fishes a week(tuna counted) thats the basic, my x husband swore by this diet, he lost 50 lbs, I lost 13, didnt have the much weight to lose at the time.
