Default Finally, eating more vegetables.

Well I'm 26 and I'm trying to eat more vegetables. A year ago the only vegetables I would eat was corn, potatoes and string beans.

But randomly I have been craving more vegetables. I'm not sure if it's my body telling me I'm malnutrition or something else. But now I enjoy eating carrots and broccoli. So I've added two more vegetables to my diet thankfully.

Would malnutrition cause me to seek more vegetables?

I think your tastes are just getting more sophisticated, more grown up. As you get older you'll find that a lot of foods that appeal to you now, didn't appeal at all to you as a kid/teen/younger adult. And vice versa. But that will apply to all types of foods - healthy and not so healthy.

If your diet hasn't been very good, it's possible that the veggies might taste particularly good to you because your body really needs the nutrients.

I've always had a theory that by the tenth time of trying something you'll find flavors you start liking -- so maybe you hit that tenth time

Vegetables have nothing to do with weight loss, no one needs to bother to eat them in order to lose weight- total myth.

Vegetables are required for good health, and typically people who are losing weight also want better health...

Vegetables are loaded with nutrients and fiber. Plus they are delicious. These all or nothing ways of eating are very hard for people to adhere to for any period of time. Real life comes into play and eating a ton of meat and fat with no grains is just not going to cut it for most people.
A person can be very healthy AND lose weight by eating a variety of whole foods. Staying away from simple carbs and sugars and exercising.

Nah, exercising to lose weight is b.s.
Why Exercise Won't Make You Thin - TIME

Sugar isn't the problem, polyunsaturated fats are.

Grains and vegetable oils are what have made Americans obese. We don't "need" vegetables the way we do protein-- without at least 70+ grams a day from animal sources your thyroid and metabolism tanks. Very simple indeed.

Not eating grains is a problem for most people, true, which is why they will be chained to their weight issues, gym membership and personal drama for life lol.

Some people actually think vegetables are evil....

Excuse me if I do not agree with your OPINIONS on diet.
And exercise helps with weight loss as long as the person is eating healthy and the right amount of calories.

I actually agree with MarkyMarc on this one. Exercise is unnecessary for weight loss. It is all about calorie deficits for weight loss.

But that doesn't meant that exercise is pointless. Exercise helps you look better, reduce your blood pressure, reduce stress, reduce your blood sugar, releases endorphins and improves your cardiovascular health. Obviously, all of these things are good. But as they say, you can't out exercise a bad diet.

And just for arguments sake, take a look at a story in the news just this past week:
Exercise Controls Weight in White Girls Better Than in Black Girls: Study - US News and World Report
[This study is probably pretty flawed, but the point is, 2 groups both exercised and one still gained weight with the same amount of activity. Amount of exercise isn't a reliable predictor of weight loss.]
