Default Naturally slim, lost a beer belly and feel weird now

Hi, well I'm naturally slender.. a dude. I had that mid age beer belly and face fat, only I lost it this past few years (lost my job first, and yes the two are related).

So there is the mental/stress part of having no job, but honestly.. that part doesn't bother me. It's "love" and all that crap

The weight part..this was like, strange for me. My body gets strange sensations, like twitching, muscle spasms-not pain, just sensations. Can't explain. Feels 'electric' somehow.. such as dealing with nerves, but not sure.

I thought, maybe it had to do with, if my body had a 'beer belly for so long and suddenly lost it, relatively quickly, parts that expected weight on it now had no weight on it... so just like if you move your DVR you might accidentally unplug some cables... I felt, after losing the beer belly.. it was hitting some nerve due to 'no more belly' there. Cause I slimmed down so fast. Within months after I lost my job. I ran everyday.. was like an animal man.. just everyday being out. Felt so good... then as I got to my natural weight so soon, there were all these twitches and sensations.. but it doesn't 'scare' me it's just.. ughh, what IS this?!?!?

Ya know?!? So I'm curious. Has this happened to anyone else????

Thank you.

Sounds to me like you might need some magnesium, maybe other electrolytes are out of balance. Muscle spasms and twitches are usually related to magnesium deficiency.

I was thinking some nutrient deficiency as well - maybe Iron. Perhaps get a vitamin/mineral profile assessed by your doctor?

I'm not really too sure, I would just talk to a doctor to see if there's maybe something you can do about your nutrients. I wouldn't think it's that serious but it's always best to ask a doctor.

Who cares though, the main thing is congratulations. That's awesome you managed that.

Thank you! I have noticed I sometimes get a metallic taste or sensation... so, that's funny you mention iron and mag.. would that be a symptom? A bitter metallic taste on the tongue?
