Default Where are you on the global fat scale?

This is interesting, have a go at it, (it takes about 30secs).

BBC News - Where are you on the global fat scale?

I'm aged 40, 6'3" and 205lbs. It seems I have a BMI of 23%, weigh more than 64% of the male population of the world in my age range.. Doesn't sound that great but then again i'm in the Army (Airborne) so overweight i'm not.

Neat link.

"
5'5'' 112lb 19bmi

You have a lower BMI than 96% of females aged 30-44 in your country

You have a lower BMI than 83% of females aged 30-44 in the world

If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 61,498,790 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population."

Wow I'm quite plump but have a BMI below the national average. I'd hate to think what I'd need to weigh to get up to the national average.

BMI 22

Less than 91% of females 45-59 in US
Less than 72% of females 45-59 world wide

I find that odd because I need to drop another 10lbs.

Says I look similar to a woman in Rwanda. Trust me I do NOT look malnourished.

Remember that the BMI does not take into account your bone structure and musculature. It's a very rough guide IMO.

I am 50 and my BMI is 21.5 and I go back and forth with 5lbs. I have the extra 5lbs on right now (it will be gone after I amp up my training in the next two weeks). I am very small boned so the BMI is not taking that into account.
