I did not say I could not stand healthier foods, I said oatmeal. I am certain there are additional healthy foods other than oatmeal. I did mention fish.

I had been thinking about that and will speak to the doctor. I will also try your suggestion. I appreciate it.

I said oatmeal because it tends to keep one fuller longer and you can control the sugar. Honeynut Cheerio's is loaded with sugar. Cereals in general are not that filling. Also a good healthy breakfast should include a protein of some kind.

Pop a lipitor down daily and have bacon and eggs for breakfast.

Thank you so much...

As for the Lipitor - sounds great but I do not want to be on medication!

Processed grains (cereal) are not nearly as good as the natural whole grain. I would highly recommend steel cut oats (better than quick oats) cooked for about 15 - 20 minutes. I usually leave them pretty watery so I don't put any additional liquid in them. But if you like to add something, you might add some Rice or Almond Milk (or similar). If you need some sweetness (you grow out of it after about a week), then something like agave might be better than sugar. But I prefer nice watery, steel cut oats. With this just have plenty of veggies during the day. They are your best friend.
