Fruit is nature's candy! I can't get enough pineapple, peaches, and strawberries lately!

I literally have no idea how to calm my cake/cookie sweet tooth though! What healthy foods do you eat to sate whatever sweet tooth you have?
They used to say if your craving sweets, that you need protein. Try eating a couple of tablespoons full of p-nut butter....maybe even on celery. It seems to be a very fulfilling treat...crunchy, cold celery, w/ p-nut butter. Also, eat p-nut butter on slices of tart apples...just dip them. Watermelon, and fresh fruits always help too.
And, one of my favorite summer treats....green grapes... frozen. Just wash...dry and toss into freezer on the stem. Take them out as you need a cool sweet healthy treat. Good stuff.

Yep, yep, yep!

One of mine and my husband's favorite summer meals is this:

Honey Crisp apples (or Granny Smiths!) sliced
Slices of cheddar cheese
Spoonful of peanut butter

Alternate between the cheese and the peanut butter on bites of apples - WOOHOOOOOOO!!!

This is GREAT to eat before you go mow the yard - with a big glass of iced tea on the side.

Better yet, get some chocolate flavored peanut butter. Or I like the chocolate flavored graham crackers--almost like cookies but better for you.

Ever try a frozen banana? You take a nicely ripe banana, peel it, wrap it in foil and freeze--when frozen, unwrap and eat. It's like banana ice cream--satisfies your sweet and creamy tooth--at least it does for me.

Fruit usually does the trick. If not sometimes I'll eat a square of dark chocolate.

I eat a banana for sweet cravings. Also you could make a salad & toss some berries in it. Raisins are also pretty satisfying. Naturally sweet fruit salad should do the trick. An occassional chocolate or cupcake binge is not bad at all if you stick to your diet most of the time.

Honestly if I have a sweet tooth, I have to eat chocolate or something to that effect. Unfortunately fruit doesn't do it for me if I'm craving something sweet. Like right now I have really bad PMS and fruit is not doing it. Chocolate is.

OK, this is weird but good and somewhat filling if you're hungry. A spoonful of natural peanut butter with a drizzle of lower carb chocolate syrup. I always did like reeses.

I like fresh fruit with a yogurt ginger sauce (greek yogurt, fresh ginger, honey, fresh mint)

Or the yogurt over granola, with frozen mixed berries and lemon zest.
