i was judgmental of the obese people before i lost all of this weight. i was 25 pounds overweight, but not obese. in fact, the reason why i did something about it was because i hated myself for becoming like that. i don't care if people are a little overweight like 20-40 pounds, but if you are morbidly obese, perhaps you should put down the fork.

though, people will judge from both ends. i get a few people telling me that i am too skinny. but they are the ones that are 50+ pounds overweight. of course i am going to look too skinny if i am standing in a crowd of potential sumo wrestlers. this is america, what is considered "normal" weight looks anorexic relative to the 60-70% of the population that is overweight. my BMI is 22.2, smack dab in the middle of the healthy weight range. i tell everyone that who thinks i am too skinny.

I totally agree, don't talk with them and keep smiling...I have to lose 26 pounds, but I don't care what others have to say about it. What matters (and what gives results) is only your determination!

When I had finally gotten down to my goal weight I had an overweight "friend" tell me my face looked older...pretty mean and was probably said out of jealousy...even if it was true...I would never say something like that...
