So many people have the same common complaint of wishing their stomach was smaller.
That's how I feel, but I feel like my case is extreme. I look pregnant at ANY size. It's just the shape I've always been. No matter if my diet is on point and I'm on my A game at the gym or not, I always look pregnant. People tend to think I'm exaggerating but I feel brave enough to prove it by posting pics;
So what size would you guess I am by looking at the first pic? I look pretty average sized right? Then BOOM you see me from the side and hell breaks loose. I look 8 months pregnant. I'm the epitome for what it means for "food to go straight to my gut"
I think I'm a prime candidate for a tummy tuck...wouldn't you agree??!!
You say that "Diet and exercise will NOT change this," but what exactly have you tried and for how long did you work at it?
Ok, so I'm exaggerating a 'little' in that, I know if I lost 25 pounds, my stomach 'would' go down....a little.
However, what I'm trying to stress is that 5 years ago, when I 'was' 25 lbs lighter (size 4?)...I still looked pregnant. My stomach was still as disproportionate to the rest of the size of my body as it is now. (Back then I was doing 3-4 days of cardio (just jogging 3 miles) and 1-2 days weight training. Not a very strict diet, but 3-4 moderate sized balanced meals a day, nothing overboard.)
I actually like the size of my body right now....with the obvious exception of the extreme stomach.
There are different types of hernias, but in general it's a weakness in the muscle that lets stuff poke through. Don't be scared, but do see a doctor. When is the last time you went to a doctor? If you've always been shaped like this and no doctor has ever remarked, it's probably not a medical issue--just the way you're built??? I dunno.
