I'd rather just eat a good pomegranate but the season is short. I'd agree with folks on here though that a whole one would be too much sugar, albeit natural.
The cost of pomegranate juice just does not justify ever buying it. This is coming from someone who normally pays a lot for his health/fitness related items as well as his foods. There is just not a big enough benefit derived from drinking pom juice to justify its ridiculous cost. The fact that this is in the "diet and weight loss" forums instead of the "food and drink" forums leads me to believe the OP is more interested in weight loss and/or health than just the taste of pom juice. With that being said, it just doesn't provide enough nutritional benefit to offset its cost.
Read the ingredient label, if there is something listed that you do not recognize do not purchase that product.
