I hear that a lot of kids hate fish. I've always loved it and am a big believer that we crave what our bodies need.

So I assume by body has always craved Omega 3 and healthy fats. This makes sense since I have multiple inflammatory conditions.

Just wondering if anyone else is the same way? Now that I'm getting older, I'm starting to crave beef a lot. Never really liked before.

I did and hated meat (even burgers and fries) as a child. Still not crazy about beef but I do eat it once a week.

I always liked fish a lot. My dad's best friend was a salesman for a large fish supplier and so we got a lot of free 10 pound boxes of a lot of different fishes. Both my mom and my grandmother were excellent cooks and they had dozens of different ways to prepare the fish. My faves were halibut, cod, flounder, big shrimps and lobster, both east coast and west coast crab. We also ate a lot of freshwater fish. Trout, pickeral, pike, mullet, catfish and bass. I'm getting hungry writing this post!!! LOL

I hated tuna as a child. In first grade I was always the last kid out of the cafeteria on Friday's (back then we had fish on Fridays) because my teacher would tell me I had to eat some. I waited till everyone had left, then dumped it.

Loved it as a child and love it as an adult.

My dad was a strict rice, beans and meat (pork chops or chicken) type of guy. He basically dictated the menu (and got the big piece of chicken). Fish was like a treat:a change from the usual. It also helped that my mom is an awesome cook

When I go shopping, I like to get fish that I've never made before. Experimenting is very easy to do with the endless recipes on the internet.

Reminds me, I have to pick up some tilapia

I don't think we ever had fish in school. We always had pizza on Friday. It took me decades to realize that it was because we lived in a Catholic neighborhood and NOT because Fridays were special! LOL!

Nothing like fish at the ocean! (Since I was a kid.)

However, my body craves Cheetos.

Gross Gross GROSS! Hated fish as a kid and super hate it as an adult... except fried shrimp with marinara sauce and calamari with the same marinara sauce, but those aren't actually "fish". I hate all other seafood as well.
