I want to share here that I am 5'2" and having 49 kg weight. It appropriate as per my height but I am having some little extra fat around my belly. I have re3ad about workout and diet plans on many online websites. I tried those tips for almost two months.
As per them I reduced my breakfast to one brown bread slice and coffee. I drink three cups of green tea daily. But instead of reducing that fat I have gained double chin . I am even chewing gum. But it is not helping me out. I am very upset by this.
What do I suppose to change more?? Please Suggest!!
Keep a food journal and keep track of your calories. Eat at least 1200 calories if you are a female and 1500 if you are male.
Eat a high fiber diet with lots of fruits and veggies. Make sure you get enough lean protein too.
I usually start with my diet and then add in exercise later on, because it takes a bit for my eating habits to change. I don't want to get too hungry from exercising and over eat.
A single slice of bread isn't going to do anything for you at all. It won't help you lose weight, it isn't enough nutrition to carry you til lunch time, or enough fiber to be considered healthy. If you're eating it dry, you might as well eat a slice of cardboard.
Try oatmeal instead. I put butter in mine instead of milk, but if your lifestyle rejects dairy, you could add a tablespoon of coconut oil. Plus raisins or even dried cranberries, or fresh blueberries. Do -not- get the "instant" stuff. Real regular oats, or steel-cut, or even quick-oats, which are still whole oats, they've just been milled finer than regular so they cook faster.
What are you eating the rest of the day? Your breakfast is already horrible.
Definitely agree with that.
I'm not versed in the vegetarian lifestyle but isn't there still good sources of proteins? Like beans, tofu, etc?
What about some black beans with salsa, grilled fresh veggies, and a whole wheat tortilla? I would think you could still pack yourself full of various veggies, plant proteins, some fruit, keep the breads to a minimum and end up with a filling, healthy breakfast that will hold you for a few hours. I also found Phood recently PlantFusion | Phood and find it to be an awesome meal replacement with lots of protein.
Don't starve yourself. That's the worst think you can do. Instead, eat well and get daily exercise.
