I LOVE dairy, one of my favorite foods......but I very much limit it. I don't think I am allergic.....but I definitely get some undesirable effects when I eat just about any dairy product.

Some of the problems I have with dairy: sinuses and throat almost plugged with mucus for up to 2 days after eating dairy, mild itching, joints seem to be mildly inflamed and increased pain in joints, makes my hands feel stiff.

If I could, I would eat dairy 7 days a week.
I can't eat a lot of dairy. A few oz of cheese and 1/2T of cream a day are the most I ever eat and I don't eat cheese every day. Small quantities of fatty dairy don't bother me but large quantities of lower fat dairy like milk bother my stomach.

Well, I have no appetite, really...no hunger...I drive around and nothing
draws me like it sometimes does...like order a pizza, yum!
I'm doing great!
Not counting anymore, but it has been well over a week.

Breakfast was half an avocado and a slice of cheese....coffee with heavy cream.

Glad it's going so well for you.

Are you still losing weight?

So I am still following this keto thing...I still feel great...
oddly great...like younger, bouncy in the morning, no tightness or even
one thought about my body as I go into the kitchen first thing...I reflect on that,
that I would at least feel a little 'something' in a knee or that old hip injury...but, No.
(I'm an old baby boomer.)

I have energy mentally which is wonderful...in the morning...I make plans...
" And then I'll get that ladder and finally fix that little something...
then, I'll go over and drop this thing off..."
No laziness in me.

I feel very good.
I do cheat, tho! So I am maintaining my weight ...not losing.
And it doesn't bother me...I will be more religious about it...starting
today, thanks for the reminder.

No red wine today!

Good for you MH.

I am in pretty heavy Ketosis....took my quite a while to get that way, maybe 2 weeks.

I think I am a going to have to up my carbs a LITTLE.......the heavy Ketosis makes me too energetic and kinda jittery. Basically have eaten next to no carbs for the last 2 weeks.....feel pretty good but am starting to have a hard time sleeping.

My pains also go away, almost completely, when in Ketosis.

I know ..any little stiffness at all ..gone...in the morning I walk around and go,
"Gee! I feel great!"

Unlike when I had red wine with friends, maybe too much salty food...
world of difference.

I have no urge or care about typical American food...a sandwich, maybe pasta, pizza,
a Mex dish...don't care about the rice/beans/ tortilla!
Love the chkicken fajitas and cheese and lettuce, tho...then the quac and salsa all over
everything..no need for chips...and hmm sour cream.

This using fat for fuel instead of glucose is for me....maybe not everyone.
I'm actually a good weight, vanity makes me want to be 7-10lbs lighter.
It is slow for me bec of the little cheating but I still feel so darn good...
Ya know when I notice it most?
When I talk with people, I can feel my mental clarity and eye contact.

I notice Dr. OZ has a 10 Day Total program of some kind...it looked very nice.
